How to Roast Beef
Preheat your oven to 500 degrees
Sear your beef for 15-20 minutes
Turn your oven down to 325 degrees for the remaining cooking time. Depending on how done you would like your roast your beef will be done when it has an internal temperature on your meat thermometer of
Rare : 120-125 degrees
Medium Rare : 130-135 degrees
Medium : 140-145 degrees
Medium Well : 150-155 degrees
Well Done : 160 degrees or higher.
Remove your roast from the oven, cover it lightly with foil and let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
